Sunset in Manteo

Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse, Manteo, NC

One of a few shots I took early in the morning last week.  The lighthouse is a replica constructed in 2004; the original was farther out in the water on wooden stilts.  It was built in 1877 and decommissioned in 1955.  The private owner then tried to move the lighthouse across the sound; it was lost and sank in the attempt.
